During the extraction process, soluble solids and aromas are highly efficiently extracted and the coffee aromas are gently extracted to achieve the desired aroma profile.

Aroma recovery is very important in certain industries, such as for the coffee industry, since the quality of the coffee extract is mainly defined by the quality and blend of the coffee bean.  This it is related to the specifications of the processing steps, eg roasting and grinding, the type of extraction, as well as aroma recovery and final drying.

How does it work

The extraction process is followed by the clarification of the coffee extract. The extract is then concentrated under vacuum at mild temperatures. The aromas generated are mixed with the extracted concentrate to adjust the required flavor. This standardized aromatic coffee extract can be bottled or pulverized or freeze-dried.
